What is The Inevitable You?
It became very important to me to help people understand this is not just a “do-this-my-way” or “do this as I would do this” or even “do this as other successful people would do it.” Not to denigrate books like Stephen Covey’s, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, I love the book and it’s got some great content in it. But the challenge for most people is, they’re not highly effective to begin with. So if you give them seven habits and they do them as an ineffective or mostly effective person, they’re going to get mostly effective results.
So putting in information, putting in the content, and teaching people how to do things, is generally problematic for a lot of people. So what became very apparent to me is that I want to teach a system. I want to teach the tools as overlaid into your life, overlaid into who you are. It’s defining and exciting, as you begin to lay down the path to being Inevitable. There’s a destiny. There’s a meaning. There’s a mystery. There’s a deepness to you. How close you get to that, or how far you drift from that, is what causes movement along the trajectory. It’s about you, it’s not about me.
And you’ll see that some of the things that I write about, it’s not vanilla flavor. It’s customized, there’s about 300 plus tools in the toolbox. Ten to 50 of them, you might utilize, and you may never use the other 250. You have to give it a long time to even get to the 125th tool.
One of the big problems that I always hear is, “Oh, but I could never be Michael Jordan. I can’t do that.” But here’s what people forget. He could never be you. Michael Jordan could not come into your life with your obstacles, your pain, your gifts, your talent, he could not outperform you in your life. So there’s value to consider that you can’t be Michael Jordan but to be the best that you can be, to find your gold medal. What does that mean to you, that’s what The Inevitable You system is about.
It’s scientific and there is an art to this. There’s intuition, there’s instinct. I want everything that I teach you to pass the “smell test,” to pass the common sense test. And whether you’re a professional in the mental health industry, or you’re just an average Joe in another profession, this system teaches you the content in a way that makes sense to you. I want to be able to teach it to you.
All of the tools have common names and I always teach the tool the same way. And then depending on how you want to use it, what your application is, that’s when the real fun begins!
